That’s why I decided to start HITC, dedicated to the HENRYs (High Earners but Not Rich Yet) living in top global cities where even a huge pay check doesn’t seem enough to bring us towards financial independence.

Who AM I
My Story
I am Henry. I studied in one of the top Ivy League universities before moving into professional services. In my career, I have worked at Tier 1 consulting, private equity and law firms in increasingly senior roles.
Yet the sizeable pay check which came in every month did not make me feel closer to financial independence. As I researched into the FIRE movement, most of the information online advocated frugality, high savings with a slow drawdown rate to match a frugal lifestyle.
I wasn’t keen on a frugal lifestyle, so I decided to build my own FIRE lifestyle. This blog is dedicated to my thoughts, specifically as to how High Earners can gain financial independence without having to cut (too much) corners on their lifestyles.
